BII launches new mentoring service for members
The BII has launched a new mentoring service for its members.
The move follows the success of the pilot BII Mentoring Scheme for newcomers into the trade. It is now being widened to all grades of BII membership.
Derek Hall, membership & business development director of BII said: "This is a key service from BII and one that fits well with our status as a professional body and membership organisation. Facilitating a transfer of members' knowledge and expertise to enhance the achievements of others is a rewarding process for both parties. Networking has always been fundamental within this industry and we are pleased to offer a platform to support this."
BII currently has around 35 senior members volunteering their time and expertise as mentors, including award-winning licensees, top trainers and consultants.
With the start of this new initiative it is also looking to increase the numbers of mentors available. Those interested in becoming a mentor should contact Sarah Deane, BII membership project co-ordinator on 01276 684449 or e-mail sarahd@bii.org.
The BII mentoring benefit is available to all BII members free of charge and application forms can be found at www.bii.org/membersonly or by contacting BII.
