Cigarette machine ban upheld
The Court of Appeal has upheld a proposed Government ban on cigarette vending machines in pubs and restaurants. The measure, drawn up by the Department of Health, will now come into force in October.
The move is expected to cost around 550 jobs in the tobacco vending machine industry.
