Prestige Scotland to cater at Royal St George's Open
Events catering company Prestige Scotland is to take a team of 65 staff to this month's Open Championship at Royal St George's in Kent after delivering this service at last year's Open at St Andrews.
Prestige Scotland will take 30 managers and 35 chefs for the event, which runs from 10 to 17 July.
When the Open is finished, 18 managers and key chefs move straight to the Senior Open at Walton Heath in Surrey. The tournament, part of the European Senior Tour, runs from 21 to 24 July.
Prestige Scotland is the events catering division of Sodexo Prestige and both competitions are organised by golf's governing body, the R&A.
Austin Tilsley, Prestige Scotland regional director, said: "This demonstrates the ability of my team in Scotland to deliver high quality events right across the UK and our commitment to travel throughout Britain to provide the service our clients demand."
Prestige Scotland operates in a variety of venues throughout Scotland, including Hampden Park, the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, Glamis Castle, Blair Castle, Aberdeen Football Club, Dundas Castle, Perth and Hamilton Park racecourses and the National Galleries of Scotland.
