Three openings take Prezzo past 150 sites

Italian casual-dining restaurant group Prezzo is set to open three new outlets this month, taking its total tally to 151.

The three restaurants will open in Rugby, Glasgow and Edinburgh, with more slated to open in the coming months.

Prezzo chief executive Jonathan Kaye (pictured) said: "Our restaurants continue to go from strength to strength and we are delighted to be opening new outlets across the UK."

He added that taking the Prezzo portfolio past the 150-mark was "a wonderful milestone for the company".

A total of £1.5m is being invested in the new restaurants, with the creation of 55 new jobs.
