BaxterStorey signs up for Red Tractor certification
BaxterStorey has signed up for Red Tractor group certification.
The relationship began two years ago when the UK's largest independent contract caterer rolled out Red Tractor assured bacon across its business.
BaxterStorey will be using the logo on its menus to identify products that comply with the Red Tractor scheme.
The Red Tractor kite mark guarantees standards and traceability throughout the food chain, while giving reassurance to the customer that what they are eating is whole chain British.
Anil Alim, BaxterStorey's procurement and supply chain director, said: "We are delighted to be working with Red Tractor Assurance to help us deliver on our commitment to deliver high quality, locally sourced products to our clients and customers.
Richard Cattell, head of marketing at Red Tractor Assurance, welcomed the move: "It is great news that leading UK contract caterer BaxterStorey, are extending the use of Red Tractor across their business and demonstrates their on-going commitment to high standards in great food and great farming."
