British-made coldrooms from Precision Refrigeration can be made in a choice of exterior colours as well as stainless steel. According to director Jeremy Hall, users often want a change from white or steel and/or have colour coding or visual requirements (such as green or brown for outdoor applications). Other Precision options include fitted floors or floor-free designs, hinged or sliding doors (which can be solid or glazed), corner configurations and multiple compartments.
Panels are internally cam-locked for a snug long-life seal and smooth, easy-clean walls. Injected polyurethane foam is offered in standard 80mm or thicknesses up to 155mm for optimum energy-saving. Standard coldrooms are built in 175mm length options, with height options every 150mm. Bespoke installations, for instance incorporating a building's architectural features such as doorways or arches, are also possible.
