Anne-Sophie Pic, the only female three-Michelin-starred chef in France, has opened a cookery school next door to her Maison Pic restaurant in the southern town of Valence.
Called Scook, the school accommodates groups of up to 10 students, offering them 90-minute, half and full day courses with prices ranging from €45 to €280 (£35 to £200).
The school will be run by chef de cuisine Aude Rambour, with Pic in attendance once a month.
Pic, a self-taught chef, was awarded three Michelin stars last year. As the first French woman to win the top accolade in 50 years she has been at the helm of the family-run Maison Pic for a decade now, having gained the third star as the third generation in a row.
Her grandfather previously won it in 1934 and her father in 1973. Maison Pic had lost its third star after Pic's father Jacques died in 1992.
