London gastropub operators brothers Tom and Ed Martin are to launch their eighth venture in the capital, with the opening of the Cadogan Arms in Chelsea.

The duo, who own and run outlets including the Gun in Docklands, the Empress of India in Victoria Park, and the Botanist on Sloane Square in Chelsea, have taken over a 3,500 sq ft site that forms part of the Cadogan Estate on Kings Road.

The Martins took on the lease for the Victorian pub in March and spent the last few weeks restoring it to its “former glory”. Interiors include original features such as traditional bar tiles, oak panelling and floorboards.

The Cadogan Arms, which will open later this month, will include a 30-seat dining room as well as a 45-seat bar.

Front of house will be overseen by general manager Bo Ford, and the modern British menu, created by head chef Darius Endriukaitis, will feature seasonal British produce.

Tom Martin told Caterersearch that they are currently looking at possible sites in central London and plan to open at least one more outlet in the next year.

“We’re in discussions over a site in Notting Hill and another in Mayfair,” Martin said.
