The Wiggly Worm, a charity that uses food projects to help and rehabilitate vulnerable and disadvantaged people, is seeking a new head chef and trainer for its bistro at the National Star College in Cheltenham.
The bistro is a new social enterprise partnership project that was borne out of discussions between the college and Rob Rees, who is chief executive of the Wiggly Worm as well as chair of the School Food Trust.
The eaterie will be sustainable and a realistic working environment for suitable learners at the college, offering a simple menu of local produce at value-for-money prices.
The Wiggly Worm will employ a head chef and restaurant manager for on-site management and creation and delivery of menus at the new National Star College Bistro.
