Sophie Welsh has joined London events specialists Cooks & Partners as events manager. After completing a cookery course at the Orchards School of Cookery in Worcestershire, she spent a season cooking in a chalet in Verbier. Welsh joins Cooks & Partners from Leith's at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre Westminster where she spent a year as events co-ordinator. Prior to that she was European sales co-ordinator at ski company, Skiworld.
