Michelin-starred chef Gordon Ramsay has added to his restaurant empire with the opening of latest outlet Foxtrot Oscar today.
Foxtrot Oscar is located in London’s Royal Hospital Road in Chelsea, a stone’s throw away from Ramsay’s eponymous three-Michelin-starred eaterie.
Trading since 1980, the neighbourhood bistro has re-opened under the Gordon Ramsay Holdings’ (GRH) banner after being acquired from former proprietor Michael Proudlock last year.
Well known for its clientele of local roués in its heyday, the 80-cover restaurant has undergone a refurbishment resulting in a modern interior with a cream and black colour scheme.
The kitchen at Foxtrot Oscar will be overseen by chef de cuisine Mark Sargeant, with restaurant director Michael Proudlock overseeing the front of house.
Foxtrot’s menu will offer simple, classic dishes with a focus on seasonal ingredients, with dishes such as chicken liver parfait; fishcakes; and home-made pies alongside desserts including apple tart and vanilla cheesecake.
GRH is considering rolling out the casual eating concept at Foxtrot Oscar as a chain.
Ramsay’s latest pub, the Warrington in London’s Maida Vale, is set to open in coming weeks.
