A local hotel manager has bought the East Cliff Cottage hotel in Bournemouth which carries a blue plaque as the former childhood home of British actor Stewart Granger.
The hotel on the renowned East Cliff has been under the same ownership for the past 20 years.
It provides 10-bedrooms, a 40-seat restaurant, and two-bedroom owners’ accommodation.
New owner Alan Stevens and his wife plan to restore the property to its former glory and upgrade the bedrooms.
Goadsby sold the leasehold off a guide price of £79,950 on behalf of Meyrick 1970 Settlement.
