Belfast caterer Mount Charles named as one of Ireland's best managed companies
Belfast caterer Mount Charles has been named one of Ireland's best managed companies in the Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards Programme.
The programme, run in association with Irish Life Corporate Business, recognises top-performing indigenous Irish companies from across Ireland.
Mount Charles was one of four Northern Ireland firms to receive the award, and was also one of three companies commended for high-quality submissions.
The independent judging panel reviewed a broad range of criteria including strategy, capability, commitment, financials and growth potential across all key functions of the business. This year, the judges also focused on how companies were planning growth in their organisations in a sustainable way.
Trevor Annon, managing director and owner of Mount Charles, said: "We are particularly proud of the team we have in place. Many have been with Mount Charles since the early years and the strength of knowledge and experience we have added as the team has expanded over the years has allowed us to become the company we are today."
Mount Charles delivers catering, vending and cleaning services to business and industry, education and healthcare sectors. It also has a retail division.
