The event for buyers looking for inspiration from around the globe. New features at this four-day food and drink exhibition include a choice of cutting-edge restaurants sponsored by one country from each continent, live chef demonstrations and an expanded international section. There will also be a "walk the world" area, with the continents laid out in geographical form. More than 40 countries will be represented in total.
In 2003 the show received the largest attendance of any food and drink event in the UK. Nearly 23,700 visitors came from 102 countries. Their areas of interest included bakery, fine foods, meat and poultry, packaging and design, and organic foods.
Entry is free of charge in advance or £20 on the door. Visitors must present a business card on arrival at the exhibition. Students should apply for entry directly through their colleges and will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. No under 16s will be allowed entry.
