Martin Brown and Claire Robinson have won this year's Young Guns competition and the chance to attend the 2003 Catering Forum.
Brown, a student at the University of Portsmouth, and Robinson, from Sheffield Hallam University, were judged to have shown the best communication skills, attitude, professional behaviour, technical ability, quality of work and management potential during their hospitality industry placements.
The Young Guns competition, now in its third year, was set up to recognise hospitality students who demonstrate excellence during their sandwich year in industry.
