Scolarest wins Bishop Vesey's deal
Scolarest has won a three-year, £580,000 total turnover contract at Bishop Vesey's Grammar School, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. Scolarest will provide breakfast, lunch and vending services for 870 pupils at the state school, as well as hospitality catering for special functions and events.
Carphone Warehouse chooses Eurest
Eurest has won two contracts with Carphone Warehouse and its subsidiary, Opal Telecom. The first is a two-year contract with annual sales of £1.2m at Carphone's support and contact centre in North Acton, London, where the restaurant has been refurbished and a cashless system installed using staff ID cards. The second contract is for three years with a total turnover of £420,000 at Carphone Warehouse and Opal Telecom's offices in Birchwood, Warrington.
Golf deal for Sodexho
Sodexho Prestige supplied all hospitality and catering at this year's Celtic Manor Wales Open golf tournament near Newport (3-6 June). Sodexho Prestige won the £200,000 contract from previous operator Compass, which had held the contract since the event started in 2000. Nearly 150 Sodexho Prestige staff provided catering to 40,000 guests and players at the tournament.
