Francis Markus, one of the founders of French contract catering company Elior, is stepping down from his post as co-chairman.
Markus, who founded the firm with Robert Zolade in 1991, will head the company's supervisory board so he can spend more time with his family, while Zolade will become managing partner.
The moves for the pair will follow the takeover of the company, by way of merger, with Bercy Management, which is subject to agreement from shareholders at an extraordinary general meeting on 30 July.
The announcement came as Elior published its results for the six months to 31 March, which showed a 21.4% hike in pre-tax profits to g50.1m (£33m). The company also said it had started to sell off its Pomme de Pain and Quick fast-food outlets.
