Chefs Jamie Oliver and Gordon Ramsay, along with Indian restaurateur Charan Gill and leisure magnate Trevor Hemmings, have all been named in this year’s City & Guilds Vocational Rich List.
The list highlights the UK’s 25 richest self-made millionaires who built their fame and fortune on vocational qualifications or apprenticeships.

| Oliver: worth about £20m |

Oliver, Ramsay, Hemmings and Gill all featured in last year’s list, but two other hospitality high-fliers of 2003 have dropped out of this year’s table.
They are Fish! restaurant chain founder Tony Allan, and chef Gary Rhodes, whose £6m valuation saw him fall just short of this year’s list.
Oliver (aged 29) and Ramsay (38) are both worth about £20m and share joint 18th position with four other "craft" millionaires.
Gill, aged 50, ranks 25th on the list and is worth £15m, £3m more than last year. He was recently voted Asian Entrepreneur of the Year and his Harlequin Leisure company runs Europe’s largest independent chain of Indian restaurants.
Hemmings was second on the list with an estimated wealth of £700m.
