Novotel London West appoints veteran general manager

Accor’s Novotel London West has brought in hotel industry veteran Michael Sloan as general manager.

Sloan comes to Accor’s mid-market flagship hotel in Hammersmith, London, from the Oakley Court hotel in Windsor.

He started his hotel career 24 years ago and his CV includes stints as resident manager at the Sherwood hotel in Taipai, Taiwan, general manager at the Plaza in Hyde Park and area manager of the Richmond Gate and Hill hotel.

Sloan has also served as general manager of the Down Hall Country House hotel was a cluster general manager for five four-star hotels in central London.
