The Park Inn Birmingham Walsall

The Park Inn Birmingham Walsall has been placed on the market by its private owner for £8.25m.

Purpose-built, the 121-bedroom hotel opened as a Ramada Encore in mid-2006. At the beginning of 2008, the owner appointed Rezidor to operate the hotel under a 25-year management agreement and the property was rebranded as a Park Inn.

The hotel is adjacent to Bescot Stadium, home ground of Walsall Football Club, and is visible from the M6. It incorporates a 120-seat lounge/bar/restaurant, a 22-seat meeting room, a fitness room, and a 75-space car park.

The hotel is offered for sale with the benefit of the Rezidor management agreement, although it can be offered with vacant possession if preferred.

Jonathan Parrish, director at property agent Christie & Co, which is handling the sale, said: “The Park Inn Birmingham Walsall offers the perfect opportunity to acquire a well-located, established business, which benefits from operating under an internationally-recognisable brand.”
