Wine supplier Jascots offers 24/7 delivery during London Olympics
Wine merchant Jascots has announced it is to offer its customers a 24/7 delivery service throughout the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
With road closures, temporary games lanes and route changes during the events, Jascots plans to offer customers the option of receiving goods between 2am and 7am to ensure guaranteed delivery.
Operating out of its warehouses in west London, the company will also be working with its customers to see if they can stockpile supplies before the games if they have adequate storage space, as well as identifying alternative delivery locations if normal access is affected.
Jascots managing director John Charnock said that as well as extending its hours to guarantee deliveries, the company will also increase the hours the sales office is open to ensure customer demands are met.
