Specialist food distributor Leathams has launched a new Merchant Gourmet Chef's balsamic syrup designed to save the busy chef time. The aged and thickened balsamic is produced in Modena, Italy, and comes in a 500ml squeezable plastic bottle complete with a directional nozzle to allow easier plate decoration. The syrup can be used as a glaze, in salad dressings, as a topping for pizza or as a filling for sandwiches.
