If when I wrote the Friday Wrap last week I'd known then what I know now I'd have done things differently, no doubt.
Unfortunately some idiot put my magic tea leaves on the compost, which may well save the planet but it didn't give me the heads-up that the results of the eagerly anticipated 2009 Michelin Guide to Great Britain and Ireland were going to leak out last weekend.
So this, although not technically, was the week of Michelin.
Although Michelin was generous this year, providing a shower of stars as well as 21 new Bib Gourmands, there was a slight feeling of anti-climax as no new three-stars were handed out.
Caterer put these points and more to Michelin UK editor Derek Bulmer on your behalf, and we also have video interviews with some of the newly-appointed Michelin-starred chefs for your delectation.
While Gourmet Restaurants, owner of Tiffinbites, was rescued from administration FishWorks and the Real Hotel Group weren't so lucky.
FishWorks was placed into administration and thankfully four of the ten restaurants in the group were saved by a white knight, but 90 jobs were lost at the remaining six eateries.
Administrators at the Real Hotel Group have already made 150 staff redundant and closed four hotels as they look for a buyer for the group's remaining 36 properties.
Louvre Hotels unveiled plans to expand and overhaul its budget brand Campanile in the UK and Gordon Ramsay Holdings was forced to deny that two of its London eateries are to close their doors.
While Enterprise Inns had a pop at JD Wetherspoon's 99p pint promotion, Michelin-starred restaurant Tamarind is to have a go at the events market with a partnership with Mint Catering.
The AA welcomed a new restaurant guide editor at what is a controversial time for the organisation, and the Food Standards Agency's decision to go with a six-tier "scores on the doors" scheme got another pasting, while Sodexo backed stricter school dinner rules.
And don't forget the deadline for getting your nominations in for the 2009 Cateys, the UK's most prestigious hospitality awards, is fast approaching.

Quote of the Week
"They are multi-starred chefs in their own country and we cannot ignore them. They have decided to open restaurants in London, and it is great for the capital."
Michelin editor Derek Bulmer responds to claims that the guide is biased towards French chefs.
