Young's puts 14 pubs up for sale
London-based pub company Young's has put 14 freehold pubs up for sale.
Thirteen of the pubs are from Young's tenanted estate in London and the Home Counties, with the 14th a managed house in Bristol.
Young's currently has a portfolio of around 90 tenanted pubs and 150 managed.
David Turner, property and tenancy director of Young's, said: "While we are under no pressure to dispose of these pubs, a sale of some or all of them would create additional scope for us to invest in our expanding managed estate, in line with our stated strategy."
Andrew Robinson, of Christie & Co's corporate pubs team, adds: "Bringing pubs to the open market is a rare excursion for Young's and, as you would imagine, these 14 freeholds benefit from excellent locations and good trading performance. We are naturally expecting a great deal of interest in this instruction."
The pubs on the market are:
Gorringe Park, Tooting, London
â- Plough Inn, Lambeth, London
â- Prince of Wales, Clapham, London
â- Marble Hill, Twickenham, Middlesex
â- Old Anchor, Twickenham, Middlesex

â- Railway Telegraph, Thornton Heath, Surrey
â- Lord Napier, Thornton Heath, Surrey
