Contract caterers provide food for companies and other establishments such as schools and hospitals. General managers will be based at the client company's office.

  • Managing all aspects of the contract
  • Managing staff, including recruiting and training
  • Budgeting
  • Providing catering for special events

What skills and attributes do I need?

  • Communication skills
  • Organisation skills
  • People-management skills
  • Finance skills
  • The ability to make decisions confidently and use initiative to solve problems will be essential, as each unit acts on a stand-alone basis in most day-to-day operations.
