The Bench: London airport hotel performance in October 2006

Hotels at London airports boosted revenue per available room (revpar) by 6.8% during the month of October.

Revpar rose to £69.47, up from £65.03 in October 2005, according to figures from hotel benchmarking service The Bench.

Occupancy increased by 2.2 percentage point to 84.2% while average room rate grew by 4.1% to £82.47, compared with £79.24 in October 2005.

The online service allows users to track their performance in average room rate, occupancy and revpar  in a variety of formats and to measure their daily performance against their competitors.
