Sodexo has scooped a string of new and retained contracts worth over £220m securing more than 1,000 jobs over the next five years.
The Sodexo Remote Site deals with blue-chip oil and gas companies in the North Sea have all come out of its Europe Zone headquarters in Aberdeen.
Lindsay Tocher, Sodexo’s senior vice president said: “We are delighted to be achieving such strong results within the current economic challenges by securing such a strong portfolio of business. In the last year we achieved double-digit growth, and 100% client retention.”
Contract extensions accounted for 12 of the 20 new deals and were spread across firms from the UK, Norway and the Netherlands and secured 885 jobs.

Two of the new contracts, with Dolphin and Ensco, were won on the back of existing works which have been extended. The total number of jobs created by the new work is 175.
