Just Opened – Castle Terrace, Edinburgh

Michelin-starred chef Tom Kitchin has opened a second restaurant in the Scottish capital, which is being overseen by chef-patron Dominic Jack. The menu will mirror Kitchin's culinary ethos of using seasonal Scottish ingredients.

Menu Modern British - dishes include tartare of wild sea bass with ginger, lemon and apple; fillet of 28-day aged Aberdeen Angus with local girolles, sautéed Nadine potatoes, bone marrow crouton and bordelaise sauce; pistachio soufflé with pistachio ice-cream

Average spend £45 for three courses à la carte
