Rupinder Gill joins Sodexo as dietician for UK and Ireland

Food and facilities management firm Sodexo has appointed Rupinder Gill as dietician for its UK and Ireland business.

Gill will provide nutrition and dietetics advice across Sodexo’s education, healthcare, corporate services and defence sectors.

Wan Mak, head of nutrition and dietetics, said: “I am delighted to welcome Rupinder to Sodexo. Her enthusiasm and knowledge will strengthen the nutrition and dietetics team, supporting and promoting the importance of health and wellbeing within our business.”

Gill, a state registered dietician, will support Mak in implementing ‘Healthwise’, Sodexo’s health and well-being ethos. She will also be responsible for ensuring the company’s food menus and service offers meet all government nutritional guidelines and standards.

In addition, Gill will be involved in providing health and nutrition training to Sodexo chefs, unit managers and employees across the business.

Previously Gill worked as a student dietician at the Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh.
