Trailer Happiness

Co-owned and run by ex-Match Bar mixologists, this lounge bar, "den" and kitchen is described as a retro-sexual haven of cosmo kitsch and faded trailer-park glamour. Cocktails are classic and contemporary, food is snacky and spicy. It opened on 16 October.

Harvard Bar & Grill

Occupying the former site of Christopher's restaurant in Victoria, Harvard Bar & Grill, has Nigel Davis, ex-head chef of the Ivy, in the kitchen and one of the longest cocktail bars in London. Lobster gazpacho, oysters Rockerfella and roast wild duck with blueberries is on the menu. It opened on 15 October

Visible

Visible offers drinking, dining and lounging in rustic interiors with comfy sofas, plus Mediterranean food such as fatayer (pastry filled with spinach and cheese) and manakeesh (flat bread with oregano, sesame seeds, and halloumi). Cocktails are by mixologists Stephen Gerard Conner and Ramush Halili.

Solyuna

Launched by the Venezuelan Araque family, this Hampstead restaurant is spread over two floors, with a restaurant and lounge bar serving traditional Venezuelan dishes and bar snacks. Dishes include asado megro (meat with sweet sauce and spices), pabellon criollo (meat with black beans and plantain).
