THE SAFER FOOD SYSTEM

According to the FSA, out of 244,901 food businesses visited by environmental health officers last year, 124,317 committed an offence; meanwhile, 400 people die from food poisoning each year.

To help caterers keep their customers safe and their premises open, the Safer Food System has been developed with food safety training experts East GB to provide an online, video-based food safety management system incorporating HACCP principles. The two versions, the £197 Essential Edition and the £357 Pro Edition, will be offered at a 50% discount throughout the show to give ex-VAT prices of £97 and £197.

Show buyers will also be offered three extra freebies - a second year's licence worth £57.50, and tools to manage both food stock inventory worth £195 and margins and food costs worth £295.
