The receivers for the iconic Fridge nightclub in Brixton, London, have indicated that they have already received three 'significant' offers to buy the property.
Christie + Co announced earlier this week that it was marketing the Fridge, after insolvency practitioners David Rubin & Partners were appointed as receiver of the nightclub last week.
The nightclub, which has a capacity for up to 1,700 people, was at the heart of the early 1980s New Romantic movement, featuring such artists as Eurythmics and the Pet Shop Boys.
David Rubin & Partners said that contracts were being prepared with a view to exchange in the near future.
