Jerrod Latham has joined the Macdonald Portal hotel, golf and spa in Tarporley as general manager. A former professional cyclist, Latham's hospitality career began in conference and banqueting before becoming a trainee restaurant manager.
He has worked in a number of independent and chain hotels as well as a brief stints at Stoke City FC, Port Vale FC and Keele University before returning to hotel hospitality.
