Cafitesse NG C110 coffee machine

Event catering requires a large number of hot beverages to be served at great speed and this can often compromise the quality of the coffee served. However, the boom in café culture over the past few years has led consumers to demand high-quality hot beverages wherever they may be and whatever the occasion.

During high-volume events, caterers typically have to leave brewed coffee in servers for hours at a time, resulting in a beverage lacking the quality that consumers demand.

When trying to maintain a consistent high quality of coffee with a traditional bulk-brew machine it is typical that an operator will waste 20-30% of the brewed coffee, but there are bulk-brew machines that allow you to brew large volumes of fresh coffee on demand.

To help caterers maintain the highest level of quick service during high-volume events and conferences, Douwe Egberts Coffee Systems has developed the three-strong NG C100 range - the next-generation Cafitesse coffee machine designed specifically for bulk-brew occasions.

Caterer has teamed up with Douwe Egberts to offer Product Zone readers the chance to win one of the machines in the range, a NG C110 machine worth £1,500.

THE PRIZE

The winner will receive a Douwe Egberts NG C110 machine worth £1,500.

The NG C110 is a high-performance energy-efficient roast and ground coffee machine designed for high-volume demand. With a footprint of 770mm x 260mm x 521mm, it is capable of serving up to 800 cups per hour and each cup or pot can be brewed fresh on demand. It also dispenses hot water for tea.

The machine has been developed with ease of use in mind and requires cleaning just twice a week. It features an innovative "eco-mode" which uses 30% less energy when on standby.
