TONY FROGGATT group chief executive, effective from 12 May. He was executive president for Europe, Middle East & Africa at Seagram group.
SIR BRIAN STEWART, currently executive chairman of Scottish & Newcastle, will take up the role of non-executive chairman in June.

NICK CLAYPOLE has been appointed general manager of the new Frankie & Benny's restaurant in Kingston, Surrey, which opens on 28 April. He was deputy manager at TGI Friday's, which has its headquarters in Dunstable, Bedfordshire.
MICHAEL SMITHUIS has taken on the role of general manager at the Raffles International hotel, Le Montreux Palace Lake Geneva, Switzerland. He was previously general manager of Swissôtel Amsterdam.
JOANNE GIVENS has joined the Chester Grosvenor hotel as spa manager. She was senior spa therapist at Emmerson Inn and Spa, Mount Tremper, New York State.
PATRIK WENNERLAND has been appointed sales and marketing director for the Myhotels group, based at Myhotels Bloomsbury, London. He was previously vice-president of sales and marketing at Park Plaza Hotels Europe, London.

BRYONY GARRETT regional director for the South, based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. She was operations manager for Cannons Health Clubs, which has its headquarters in New Malden, Surrey.
MARTIN JACKSON has been appointed general manager of the Big Blue hotel at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. He was operations manager at Hilton Hotels, based at Hilton Bradford, West Yorkshire.
DANIELE PAMPAGNIN has joined Diverso Italian restaurant in Mayfair, London, as head chef. He was previously head chef at Riso restaurant in west London.

PETER BELTON as president. He had been a vice-president since 2001.
