Three Michelin-starred chef Heston Blumenthal has received the Ambassador award for services to industry charity Hospitality Action.
The Fat Duck’s chef-patron was one of a number of high-profile names recognised at the Hospitality Action Cool Ball, held last Friday (13 October).
Fred Barnes, chief executive of 3663 was given the President’s award from William Murray PR and Troy Smith of Steelite International picked up the Harvey’s Heroes Award, sponsored by Compass UK & Ireland.
New accord the Ark Foundation Award for Corporate Social Responsibility went to the Royal Garden hotel, London.
Held at the capital’s Grosvenor House hotel the fundraising night raised more than £100,000 for the charity, which aids hospitality employees facing hard times.
