The Jurys Cardiff hotel has been sold to property investment company Mountain Capital, for an undisclosed sum, believed to be in the region of £16m.
The 146-bedroom hotel, which was sold by property agent Christie & Co, will be rebranded as a Park Inn property under a long-term management agreement with Rezidor Hotel Group.
Mountain Capital, which is owned by the backers behind pub group Admiral Taverns, also bought nine QMH properties in October 2005 and rebranded them under the budget Park Inn banner.
