Vivas, the collaboration of 3663 and Bibendum, has highlighted two wines from its portfolio.
Cellier Etoile Sauvignon Blanc (12% abv) is part of a single varietal wine range produced at Foncalieu near the city of Carcassonne in the Languedoc.
The Romans planted vineyards almost everywhere on the hilly outcrops, and wines offered include a Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Rosé. The Sauvignon Blanc is described as combining lemon aromas with hints of pear and aromatic wild herbs. A lively palate combines melon, peach and pear flavours with tangy, lemony notes.
The Furious Boar wines are named after the third-largest boar population in the world, which roams the vineyards of California. The wines are made at the Delicato winery specifically for Vivas and include a Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Old Vine Zinfandel.
The Pink Zinfandel Rosé del rosé (10% abv) has a rich pink colour with strawberry and cherry aromas and flavours of ripe watermelon. All wines are supplied in six 75cl cases.
