Mirabel 2006

Three new wines have joined the Vinding-Diers portfolio: La Famiglia, Mirabel and Coupage.

The Italian La Famiglia 2006 (13.5% abv) is made in the foothills of Mount Etna with the Nero d'Avola Sicilian red grape. It has dark, ruby and purple colourings, a bouquet of ripe cherries and a mellow flavour with concentrated fruit.

The Mirabel 2006 (13.5% abv), from the Extremadura region, is dark red garnet in colour with soft fruit flavours, while the Coupage 2004 (13.5% abv), from Ribera del Guadiana, Crianza, is deep red with a flowery and fruit-filled bouquet with berry fruit flavours and a touch of sweetness.

This wine is matured for eight months in French oak barrels, which adds hints of vanilla, coconut and chocolate flavours.
