The five-strong range of Electric Vario Mix Kettles from Electrolux offers high-capacity, high-powered boiling pans with variable speed mixers and motorised tilting beyond 90° to completely empty out the food.
The kettles - available in 50-litre, 100-litre, 150-litre, 200-litre and 300-litre sizes - use either a Variomix grid stirrer with scrapers for mixing thicker consistencies or a gentler Promix stirrer with dense foods such as mashed potato.
Food is uniformly heated by the base and side walls, controlled by a food temperature sensor at the bottom. The curved pan base is also designed to handle smaller quantities of food.
The electronic control can store 50 programs to control time, temperature, automatic water fill and automatic food cooling. All models have a protection grid that gives full visibility inside the pan during cooking, a strainer plate, and an integrated spray gun for cleaning.
Optional accessories include cleaning and whipping tools and, on the 300-litre model, trolleys to store tools for two or five kettles. Prices for electrically heated models range from £21,509 to £29,974, while opting for a steam-heated model boosts the list price by between £3,797 and £4,290.
