Slip-busting Wash’n Walk cleaner from Ecolab

Wash’n WalkAccording to the Health & Safety Executive (HSE), slips and trips are the most common causes of injury in UK workplaces (especially food service operations) and account for 11,000 major injuries a year.

The new patent-pending Wash'n Walk floor cleaner from Ecolab combines enzymes with traditional cleaning agents to digest the grease that can be so hazardous to staff.

It is applied with a mop and cold water, and requires no rinsing, as the enzymes continue to work after application, reducing water consumption by 90%. As the solution is pH-neutral, it will cause no chemical damage to the floor, and will increase the friction on slippery kitchen quarry tiles.

The cleaning product - whose UK introduction coincides with the launch of the HSE Shattered Lives campaign to minimise the risk of slips and trips - is sold in five-litre drums.
