Anti-overflow unit for baths from Nova-Flo

Nova-Flo unitDamage from bath overflows costs UK insurers £250m a year, and leaving a bath running until water pours through the overflow wastes 10-14 litres a minute.

Nova-Flo is a patented and award-winning new anti-overflow technology that uses a magnetic system rather than electrics to provide a safe, easily-installed and maintenance-free solution for hotels.

The compact concealed unit is installed via push-in pipe connections under the taps. When bath water reaches the existing overflow height, it automatically stops the flow of water from the taps. To reset, operators simply turn the taps off and back on again.

The current system works with 95% of bath and tap installations and can also be fitted to basins, with some modifications. The group is currently working on dedicated units for basins and kitchen sinks.

Nova-Flo was voted the Best Innovation in Building Services at last year's M&E Building Services Conference.
