Silent Killer

Wednesday 02 June 2004 15:45

Summer, and with it buzzing flies, will soon be upon us but Mechline can help with a new method of killing airborne insects from Mo-el. Ideal for kitchens or front of house, the Insectivoro eliminates flying bugs without insecticides or electrifying grids. Instead, it uses a UV-A lamp to attract the flies towards the unit, then sucks them into a trap with a soft-bladed fan. No burning smells or body parts scorched on to the grid, says the company; it's silent and easy to maintain. The units are 340mm high.
