John Rogers has become marketing director for De Vere Group, covering its three brands, De Vere Hotels, Village Hotels & Leisure Clubs and Greens Health & Fitness. He was director of marketing and strategy at the company.
Andrew Coggins is now general manager of the De Vere Grand hotel in Brighton. He joins the five-star property from the De Vere Slaley Hall, Northumbria, where he was general manager.
Moat House Hotels has appointed
Eve Sales as food and beverage/leisure clubs product manager. She was a marketing executive for TRS Management Resources and has a certificate in marketing from London Guildhall University.
Janet Fisher has become catering manager for Joplings department store, based at its group headquarters in Sunderland. She will run both the Planters restaurant and the staff canteen. Fisher returns to the sector after a five-year career break and has a background in both retail and hospitality catering.
Simone Schwarzer has been selected as sales manager at the five-star Capital hotel in London's Knightsbridge. She was sales co-ordinator at the Waldorf Hilton hotel in London.
Andy Byles is the new sales manager at the Corus Hotel Hyde Park, London. Previously he was airport and leisure sales manager for Le Méridien at Heathrow.

Matthew Purbick is the new deputy general manager at Albrighton Hall hotel, Shrewsbury. He was previously conference and banqueting manager at the hotel and succeeds
Ian Warrington, who has been promoted to general manager at sister property Park House hotel, Shifnal. Both properties are in Shropshire.
Sarah Howells-White has joined the Crown hotel at Bawtry, South Yorkshire, as rooms and reception manager. She was rooms division manager at the Sheffield Park hotel in Sheffield.
Virginia Masser has moved from the Millennium Hotel London Mayfair to the Millennium Gloucester hotel as resident manager. Peter Beckwith is now general manager at the Millennium Hotel London Mayfair. He previously performed the same role at the InterContinental Mayfair hotel. Douglas McHugh, previously general manager of the Frimley Hall hotel in Camberley, Surrey, is now general manager of the Millennium Bailey's Hotel London Kensington.r hi

Alison Tyler, director of business development, and
Caroline Fry, client resources director, have been promoted to the newly created positions of joint managing directors of contract caterer Charlton House. The move is described as a strategic response to strong continued growth at the company, which currently runs at 30% a year.
