one devonshire gardens to join

Thursday 20 July 2006 00:00
Glasgow's most acclaimed hotel, One Devonshire Gardens, is now officially part of the Hotel du Vin stable. The 49-bedroom property will undergo a £1.7m makeover before relaunching in October.

The restaurant, which was operated by Room Holdings, will become a Hotel du Vin bistro from
10 August.

Robert Cook, chief executive of Hotel du Vin, said: "This will be a Hotel du Vin du Luxe. By merging the brands it will be more upmarket than our other sites. "The bedrooms will have the Devonshire Gardens feel, while the food and beverage operations will embody Hotel du Vin's qualities."
