The Old Manse House hotel, a four-star guesthouse in the Derbyshire spa town of Buxton, has changed hands.
Sally and Simon Howell make their hotel debut with the Victorian semi-detached building that was built in the late 1800s as a family residence.
The business – which made a trading profit of £23,376 on a £58,302 net turnover in the year to 31 March 2007 – offers seven en-suite bedrooms to sleep 15, six en-suite and one with a private bathroom.
Other facilities include a public bathroom, a 20-seat dining room and bar, and double-bedroom owners’ accommodation across the basement and ground floors.
The Manchester office of Colliers Robert Barry sold the freehold off a guide price of £450,000.
