The award-winning La Cassetta restaurant in the Hertfordshire village of Kings Langley has been sold.
The restaurant - which was listed by The Times as one of the top ten Italian/Mediterranean restaurant in London and the South East – has been transformed into a Bangladeshi/Indian restaurant called the Cinnamon Lounge under new owner Zac Hussein.
The business occupies a 16th century, 500-year-old Grade II-listed building in the High Street which features oak beams and inglenook fireplaces.
The main 60-seat restaurant is on the first floor while a smaller, 14-seat dining room shares the ground floor with a bar and reception.
The Milton Keynes office of Christie + Co sold the freehold off a guide price of £425,000 on behalf of Spencer Tag.
