Premium Bars & Restaurants (PBR) has parted ways with executive chairman Mark Jones with immediate effect, the company has announced.
The move comes just weeks after Jones announced that he would be stepping down from his role in 12 months time.
Charles Wilson, non executive director at the company, previously known as Ultimate Leisure, has assumed Jones’s executive responsibilities with immediate effect.
Jones confirmed to Caterersearch that it was his intention to remain within the licensed trade.
He also revealed that he was no longer a non-executive director at restaurant chain Las Iguanas.
“I thought it appropriate to step down from Las Iguanas when (PBR’s) stock lost a third of its value [this summer] due to the Dawnay, Day collapse,” said Jones.
The property company, which collapsed in July, had a 20% share holding in PBR.
