Food and drink wholesaler Booker has been confirmed as the recommended food supplier for Scottish & Newcastle Pub Enterprises customers.
All 2100 Licensees will have access to their own dedicated transactional website, where products can be delivered in multi-temperature vehicles free of charge; their own dedicated telesales service plus the convenience of a personal service at Booker’s 172 branches, including a skilled butcher to cut and prepare orders.
Ron Hickey, Booker’s director of catering development said: “Booker is delighted to be named as the recommended food supplier and we are looking forward to welcoming these new customers to take advantage of our free delivery service whether they order online or through telesales. Scottish & Newcastle Pub Enterprise customers will also have the support of their local catering development managers.”
Ben Bartlett, head of food at Scottish & Newcastle Pub Enterprises, added: “I think this is a great opportunity for our customers to really take advantage of Booker’s food expertise. Booker’s prices are among the lowest in the UK at a time when watching costs is very important. Our customers will be able to purchase all their food with just one invoice to help them reduce their paperwork and take advantage of free local delivery.”
