London’s Connaught is the only new UK member of Relais & Châteaux

The Connaught, London, is the only new UK property to appear in the 2010 edition of the Relais & Châteaux guide.

The five-star, 131-bedroom hotel in Mayfair is among 31 new members and three new destinations – Taiwan, Macao and Hungary - in the publication.

There are now a total of 475 hotels and restaurants throughout 57 countries represented by Relais & Chateaux, which provides its members with marketing support and a worldwide reservations system in exchange for an annual fee.

Amongst the 28 members in the UK are Chewton Glen in New Milton, Hampshire and Gidleigh Park, Chagford, Devon.
